CPHQ Reimbursement Process
Purpose of the Grant
WAHQ will reimburse $75 to current WAHQ members who obtain their Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be an active member prior to obtaining CPHQ certification. This benefit does not apply to CPHQ recertification. Please complete the form below to apply for reimbursement.

WAHQ Memorial Career Development Grants
Purpose of the Grants
The grants are established in memory of individuals who significantly contributed to WAHQ and healthcare quality. Each $1,000 grant provides financial assistance to one (1) WAHQ member annually to apply towards travel expenses and/or registration fees for:
- The WAHQ Educational Conference(s)
- The NAHQ Annual Conference
- WAHQ-sponsored CPHQ Review Course
- Ongoing educational courses, the content of which is related to the CPHQ Content Outline.
The applicant should actively contribute to the healthcare quality profession at the national and/or state level.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all quality professionals who are individual WAHQ members in good standing, excluding current WAHQ Board of Directors.
- The applicant must be currently working in healthcare quality and have at least three (3) years of experience in the field of healthcare quality.
- The applicant must be a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).

WAHQ Educational Grant
Purpose of the Grant
This $250 grant provides financial assistance to a maximum of 2 (two) WAHQ members to apply towards travel expenses and/or registration fees for:
• The WAHQ Educational Conference(s)
• WAHQ-sponsored CPHQ Review Course
• The Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Exam
The applicant should actively contribute to the healthcare quality profession at the national and/or state level.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Open to all quality professionals who are individual WAHQ members in good standing, excluding current WAHQ Board of Directors.
2. The applicant must be currently working in healthcare quality and have at least 1 – 2 years of experience in the field of healthcare quality.
3. Preference will be given to CPHQ or those on the CPHQ track.
